after minutes of normal operation, when hitting stop on the transport bar, the mouse and keyboard no longer respond properly.

software which reprograms keyboard button functions interferes with Pro Tools.an example of such software is Logitech ITouch.workaround: uninstall the keyboard software, and update the keyboard drivers to "Standard (101/102-key) or Microsoft Natural keyboard" (Start -> Control Panel -> System -> Device Manager)
