Q:
Using an Appian Jeronimo 2000 AGP graphics card installed on my computer for use of two video monitors; at some point the image on the second monitor gets distorted (wavy or shaky), and then the computer shuts off by itself.

A:
The Apple Jeronimo 2000 card was designed and tested on CPUs using a 254 W power supply. Appian technical support has narrowed this problem down to Apple Macintosh computer models that are shipping with 126 W power supplies. Physically inspect the power supply inside of the computer, and if it is labeled as 126 W, contact Apple (or the manufacturer of the computer in question) and request the standard 254 W power supply.
