When importing a SDII file of the same bit depth/sample rate with the "Convert all imported .wav files to AES31/Broadcast WAVE" preference enabled, Pro Tools requires that you convert the file.

This is a bug in PT 5.1.1Workaround:-Disable this preference before importing audio
