Crosstalk results when the I/O submenu (Inserts menu) in the channel strips are incorrectly accessed.
 
A:
-Deselecting old i/o's and designating new I/O's in the channel strip i/o menu (Inserts menu) WITHOUT EXITING THE MENU AFTER DESELECTION and RE-ENTERING the channel strip i/o interface menu before new i/o selection results in external mixer BLEEDOVER/CROSSTALK between channels and main/monitor systems.-The channel strip i/o interface box MUST BE EXITED after deselecting the old I/O and RE-ENTERED before selecting the new I/O.
