Q:
What does trashing the System folder > Preferences > DAE prefs folder do?
A:
Trashing the DAE prefs folder restores the DAE root plug-in settings link. When you call up a TDM plug-in and go tofactory presets you would see any associated plug-in settings for that plug-in. Sometimes this association can be corrupted and no settings are listed. Deleting the DAE prefs folder and restarting the CPU reestablishes that association.
