Q:
MIDI Click plays back 1/4 of the speed set on the transport tempo slider.
A:
This can happen when a MIDI sound is not keymapped to the unaccented note value set in the Pro Tools Click Options Dialog. Because Pro Tools is only triggering the sound assigned to the accented note, the tempo plays back 1/4 the speed of the tempo setting. In Pro Tools, choose > MIDI Menu > Click Options. Make sure that the note values for the accented and unaccented notes correspond to keymapped sounds in your MIDI device.
