When I make a New Session with Pro Tools 5.3, the sample rate and file type popup menus don't work. The only way I can change a session's sample rate is to open the "Hardware Setup" and change the rate there.

In this case, an extension conflict may be to blame. Specifically, the Kaleidoscope extension may cause this.
