How to create cross platform sessions on Windows systems for use on a Macintosh system:- Since Pro Tools 5.1 is the first to support cross platform functionality, both systems must be using Pro Tools 5.1 (or later)- Open the desired session(s) on your Pro Tools LE 5.1 (or 5.1.1) Win98 SE system- Choose File>Save Session Copy In... - Choose either AIFF or WAV for the Audio File Type- Enable the "Enforce Mac/PC Compatibility"option-Once on the Macintosh, copy all audio and session data to a local drive (ATA, SCSI or FireWire) before attempting to launch the session.Please note the following when moving data from Win98 SE to Mac OS via CD-R: -Macintosh systems can only recognize data CD's created on a Windows if you install the Joliet extension, available in the Utilities section of our Downloads page: www.digidesign.com using SCSI:-Connect an HFS formatted SCSI drive to your Windows machine-Mount it using MacOpener: www.dataviz.com -Copy all audio, fade and session data to the drive -Connect and mount the drive on the Mac.
