Digital noise comes out of the Mbox when "Digidesign" is selected in the Sound Manager control panel.
 
A:
This is a known issue with Pro Tools LE 5.2When switching the selected output from "Built-In" to "Digidesign" in the Sound Manger control panel, enabling "check signal level" on the input panel will result in digital noise being sent out the Digidesign hardware. To avoid this, reboot with the "Digidesign" output selected and then enable "check signal level."
