Recording Online while synchronized with a SMPTE source, Pro Tools is unable to record more than a handful of tracks before the -9073 Error occurs. Recording while not online yields far better track count.
 
A:
If recording to SCSI hard drives with an ATTO SCSI card, try installing the ATTO ExpressPro-Tools Extension and enabling the "Inhibit Driver Loading" option on the card. If the SCSI hard disk drivers are old or corrupted this will bypass them, allowing Pro Tools to record successfully.
