Pro Tools 5.3.1 Win plugin parameter files are recognized as a Microsoft Office file type.
 
A:
Our Plug-In Parameters (.pip) may show up on your computer as being Microsoft Office files. These files are not editable in office or any other application other than Pro Tools.
