When previewing sound files from audiosuite and using a Pro Tools III system...

When previewing sound files from audiosuite and using a Pro Tools III system with Pro Tools 5.0 you'll hear a lot of distortion in the preview. The distortion/artifacts are not in the processed files.

The workaround is to use PT 5.0.1 with DSI 5.0.1 and DAE 5.0
