Whenever I open a Pro Tools session it starts to copy files. The same thing happens if I try to save. When I delete regions, they remain in the regions list.
 
A:
This behavior can occur if 3rd-party FireWire extensions are installed. Disable the 3rd-party FireWire extensions, or go to the extension manager and create an extension set that includes: base set, Digidesign Extensions, and OMS extensions.
