When SYNC I/O is the master clock source and Pro Tools is launched, I get periodic clicks across all 16 outputs of the last (second) audio interface.

Here is the fix:-Make sure you have upgraded to Pro Tools 5.3.1 (or later).-Connect "Loop Out" of Sync I/O to the "Loop In" of the first interface-Connect the "Loop Out" of first interface to the "Loop In" of the second interface.-Connect the "Loop Out" of second interface to the "Loop In" of Sync I/O (thus completing the loop).
