Q:
During record at 48kHz, a message pops up saying that OMS can't find a specific midi port. I can choose to 'reset port' or 'forget port'after clicking 'forget port', audio drops out for a second, and the system continues normally.on playback, the audio after the 'hiccup' is played at double speed.
A:
The 'forget port / reset port' message appears when a Midi Port is set up in OMS Studio Setup, but the midi port is not connected to your system.either turn on / connect the Midi interface or remove the Midi port from OMS Setup. If Pro Tools doesn't function normally after this happens, quit Pro Tools and copy the Pro Tools application from the CD-ROM.
