Q:
How can I maximize my screen size in Cakewalk or Sonar?
A:
One way is to turn off some of the toolbars at the top of the screen. You can tailor this to your own liking, but you can fit the most important ones in one line by selecting these in the View - Toolbars:
Standard (typical Windows File-Load/Save, cut/paste) Position (shows your MIDI measure/beat and real timecode) Tempo (displays tempo and slowdown/speedup buttons) Transport (small one at the top of the screen) Transport Large (large "Floating" transport) None are specifically needed except for a transport, so you can really maximize screen area by turning off all of them but the Transport Large.
