Q:
Why won't the drivers for my M-Audio Midiman MidiSport stay loaded in Windows XP?
A:
If you have a Midisport 1x1, 2x2, or 4x4, and are using the 4.1.16 drivers (orange CD) try downloading the newest drivers from the www.midiman.com website. Check the "Show Beta" button and download the 4.1.21 drivers. Also download the MidiFix Utility which will properly uninstall the drivers. Run this first, reboot, then install the newest drivers. This should correct the drivers dropping offline.
