Q:
What issues does the New Firmware – Version 6 for Apogee AD-16 fix?
A:
We have released version 6 firmware for the AD-16. Specific issues addressed in this firmware are:
When the AD-16 is locked to an external Word Clock input, DIP switch 6 now offers the following functionality: o DIP6 DOWN – the unit runs at a sampling rate equal to the Word Clock input rate; o DIP 6 UP – the unit runs at a sampling rate twice the Word Clock input rate. o DIP 6 should be set UP to run the AD-16 at a 96kHz Word Clock when locking to a 48 kHz word clock. Settings of DIP switches 3 & 4 now correspond correctly to what is noted in the manual Word Clock Out is in phase with Word Clock In CRC byte computed correctly
