I am in Multimode, and when I turn the Effects Send to zero, my sound disappears...

I am in Multimode, and when I turn the Effects Send to zero, my sound disappears, as though Effect Send was also sending a Volume change. What is this?

Most likely it's an issue about the routing: the signal of the delay is routed into your mixer but whatever Output you are routing your original patch through is sent to a mixer channel that is turned down or to an output that is not even connected to the mixer.

This may happen if you are changing an existing Multi program. Check the output settings for the patch and the delay.
