Q:
How do I setup REwire in Logic 6.x?

A:
1st launch LOGIC completely,
then launch REASON (or your rewire software)
Setup your Rack of REASON modules that you will want to use...

THEN...

to setup the AUDIO:
1) highlight your 1st AUDIO track
2) go to the left side Audio parameter box and you will see
the CHA parameter... across from that you will see TRACK 1
3) click and hold on TRACK 1 and there will be a drop menu
4) within the menu options there will be a REWIRE option
5) from that menu there will be an arrow over menu of all the possible REWIRE channels - please choose REASON Mix L
This corresponds to the REASON main Left output
6) highlight your 2nd AUDIO track
7) follow steps 2-5 but instead of choosing REASON main left, you are going to choose REASON main Right... thereby activating a stereo connection to the audio outputs of REASON

to set up the MIDI:
1) open your MIDI instruments Environment
2) go the Menu and choose NEW > INTERNAL > REWIRE
3) That will put a REWIRE Icon on the screen along with your other midi instruments
4) Go back to your ARRANGE page
5) on your 1st MIDI track, click and hold until you get a drop down menu
6) go to the MIDI INST > REWIRE and hit enter
7) Now go to the left side MIDI parameter box and find the BUS parameter - across from that will say a number 6...
8) If you click and hold on the number 6, Your RACK of REASON Modules will appear and you can choose the one you'd like to play...
Now start playing....
