The 2408 ships with a MAS driver for full multi-channel use with Digital Performer(sold separately) or the AudioDesk package that ships with the 2408. It ships with a PCI-324 Sound Manager driver for use with Sound Manager compatible applications(giving you 2 inputs and outputs with the 2408 via Sound Manager), and an ASIO driver (giving full multichannel support for applications that support ASIO drivers).

Any audio software that has support for MAS drivers or ASIO drivers will be able to use the full multi-channel abilities of the 2408. Currently this includes Digital Performer, Audio Desk, and others.

Any audio software that is Sound Manager compatible will be able to use 2 inputs and 2 outputs with the 2408. Some examples are Peak, Recycle, ReBirth, Sound App., and many others.
