Q:
MOTU Issue: Effects Presets
A:
Effect Presets in versions previous to Digital Performer 2.7:
We provide a file with all of the effects presets that you can load into any existing sequence. Create a new file, choose Load from the File menu, and navigate to your Digital Performer Folder > Extras Folder and select the file which is titled "DP Effects Presets". When you are presented with the Load Chunks dialog box you should select "Seq-1" and also select " Effects Settings" to load into your sequence. Now you should see all of the effects presets available in each plug-in. If you choose "Save as New Template" these presets will appear in every sequence. Effect Presets in Digital Performer 2.7: Effect Presets are stored in the application and should be available in any new file you create. User Presets: User Presets are saved within each individual file. You can import User Presets to a new file by using the Load feature. You can also create a clipping from any plug-in or combination of plug-in settings.
