(Configuring Motu Audio Hardware as your Windows Multmedia Device or Using your 2408, 1224, 308, or 24i with Windows Internet or Start up sounds)

When installing the software you have the choice to install an ASIO Driver as well as a Wave Driver. You must have the Wave Driver installed for the following configuration.

In you Multimedia Control Panel, choose the Audio tab. If the PCI-324 Wave Driver is installed you can choose any pair of inputs and outputs for Perferred Device. If an input or output is labeled as (Not Active), this means you have to first enable the input or output in the PCI-324 Console. In the PCI-324 Console you can enable any input and output. An Output Source should be set to From Computer.

Note: Motu Hardware will only play sounds that have a sampling rate of 44.1k or 48k.
