Digital Performer 2.7 now supports Rewire. When you install Rebirth, a Rewire extension will be installed in your extensions folder. In Digital Performer 2.7 or higher you can slave Rebirth to Digital Performer or Digital Performer to Rebirth just by switching applications. These are the only instructions you have to follow:

1. Make sure the Rewire Extension is installed and active.
2. You must first Launch Digital Performer and assign a Rebirth output as an input on an Audio or Aux. track in Digital Performer.
3. Now launch Rebirth.

You can slave either application to the other just by hitting play. You can also record Rebirth's (or any Rewire Application) direct output into Digital Performer and use you MAS effects with Rebirth.
