no MIDI input or MIDI controllers not working in DP 2.7?

If you are not getting any MIDI Input but you see MIDI input in the MIDI monitor, or you are unable to get MIDI controllers to function properly, make sure you do not have DP configured to use a HUI. In the Basics Menu, Control Surface Setup you can configure DP to communicate with a HUI. If you have removed a HUI from your FreeMIDI configuration or have changed the MIDI port it is connected to you must make the appropriate changes in this window. If DP is configured to look on port X for a HUI that is not there it will swallow any MIDI input that you send to it.
