Q:
What do all of the different Midi Dump TX settings do?
A:
(this is all in the OS4 manual on page 176!)
* TOTAL: all singles + multis + global settings + kitchen sink * GLOBAL: non-patch info (tuning, lcd contrast, sysex channel, etc) * CONTROLLER DUMP: the current single in the form of CC messages * SINGLE BUFFER: the current single in SysEx form * SINGLE BANK A: all of bank A in SysEx * SINGLE BANK B: all of bank B in SysEx * MULTI BANK: all the multis (M0 .. M99) in SysEx * MULTI BUFFER: the current MULTI in SysEx form. NOTE: this does not save any edits you may have performed on the patches within the multi. If you need this, do an Arrangement dump! * ARRANGEMENT: the current MULTI + all 16 multi edit buffers (the best!
