How to Use an Internal Auxiliary to Route to a Y56K Card on an AW2816
A:
1) Press the [PATCH] button to access the WAVES plug-in card.
2) Press the [F4] button to select plug-in. The 'WAVES' screen will be displayed. 3) When 'WAVES' screen displays press the [ENTER] button. The 'WAVES' routing screen will be displayed. 4) Verify that the chain to be used by the AUX is set for 'AW'. a) If the AUX is not set to 'AW' and is set for 'ADAT', cursor to the word 'ADAT' and press the [ENTER] button to bring up the dialog box. b) Use the up, down, left, & right buttons to cursor to 'AW' . c) Press the [ENTER] button. 5) Press the [F2] button to access the 'Patch OUT' screen. 6) Use the up, down, left, & right buttons to cursor to SL1-1. 7) Use the (DATA/JOG) dial to select 'AUX 1' as the input to the slots input to the WAVES card input 1. 8) Press the [F1] button to access the 'Patch IN' page. 9) Use the up, down, left, & right buttons to cursor to the desired input channel for the return from the WAVES card. 10) Use the (DATA/JOG) dial to select the 'SL1-1' return from the card slot. 11) The selected channels fader is now the return level control from the WAVES card. 12) Routing the individual tracks to the AUX connected via the WAVES input. a) Press the [SELECT] button above the input or track playback fader. b) Press the [AUX1] button.
