Can the Akai MPC4000 IB-48P and IB-48AD boards be used at the same time to give a user access to 16 outputs simultaneously?

You can use both boards in the MPC4000 at the same time, but you will only have 8 individual outputs. In other words, the same signal will come out of output 1 on the digital board that comes out of output 1 on the analog board.
