This driver works with Audiowerk2 and Audiowerk8 cards.

Audiowerk8 Hardware Revisions
If the big chip on your card is a 7146 instead of an 7146A (the following letters are not important), you might experience distortion of sound after playing for a while. This problem concerns Audiowerk8 cards made before the summer of 1998 and probably can't be fixed.

Multiple Audiowerk8 Cards
Daisy-chaining of multiple Audiowerk cards is not supported. You may use multiple cards in one computer simultaneously, you can link them digitally, but the cards will not be able to start playback exactly in sync.

Digital Input
Switching to digital input will also switch the clock source to external.

Note:You need to have a valid digital input source if you switch to digital input. If your external clock is invalid, the playback may be either too fast or too slow or not working at all!
