Q:
How do I check that the unit is working with full Polyphony, voices are breaking up and I dont know why?
A:
You can test that all 128voices of polyphony are working. Power up holding the left and right cursors and then use the data wheel to scroll to "Channel Test" press [Enter] and then the machine will test all of the polyphony with a sine wave and you should hear any break-ups or drop outs.

How can I sample rate convert in Cakewalk or Sonar? I have a project at 48kHz and need to change it to 44.1kHz to burn a CD. What sample rate should I use in Cakewalk Sonar for my projects? After installing Logic 6.1 on OS X, Reason no longer works properly. My USB midi device (module, keyboard, workstation) is detected by OSX "AudioMIDI Setup" when I install the drivers, but I don't have input/output choices in my host application. I have assigned a program on my Akai Sampler to the separate Output 2 but the sound appears on Output 3. Why? |
