I would like to remove un-used audio date from the samples I've loaded in order to save sample memory. Is it possible to edit the start and end of a sample loaded into Kontakt?
I am struggling to get modulation of loop points and loop length to work, or to understand how they work. For example I have sample that is 8000 samples long. Loop start is at 5000 and loop end is at 8000. I then let CC01 modulate Loop End, and turn the modulation intensity to -100. Now I would intuitively thought that when pressing the modwheel up, the loop end point would move towards position 5000. That is, modwheel 0 -> 127 should make Loop End 8000 -> 5000, the loop should become smaller and smaller and when modwheel is at max, the loop is very small. The same problem goes for modulating loop start. I would think that the start point would move towards the loop end point scaled to fit the modulation source. I can hear that something happens with the loop, but the polarity of the modulation has to be opposite of what I think it should be, and I can no way tell what happens to my loop but I guess it moves the whole loop or something. I am very sure that there is no scaling going on between the mod source span and the loop size.
An error prompt now informs me upon attempting to run Kontakt that the item can't be opened because the original item is in the trash. Do I have to install each successive upgrade in order to get to the latest version?
