Q:
How do I hear my mic in the Roland MC909 Groovebox?
A:
You will need a dynamic mic or one that does not require external phantom power and plug it into Line In L (Mono/Mic).
Press and hold Mix In, rotate the Value dial to ON. Continue holding Mix In and press F5 to go to input settings. Change Line In L, R to Microphone. Then you just need to adjust the Input knob (next to the Volume knob). You will not need to load a patch to hear the mic. The settings will not stay after powering the unit off and back on, you will need to re-do the settings.
