Why do all the lights on my Digidesign Mbox stay on all the time in Windows XP? I cannot launch Pro Tools.

This means your Mbox is requesting a firmware update, and is in firmware update mode. You can find this update with either Pro Tools 5.31 or Pro Tools 6.1 by going into My Computer, C drive, Program Files, Digidesign, Pro Tools, Pro Tools Utilities. Double-click MboxFirmwareUpdater.exe and follow the on-screen prompts to check existing firmware. When it asks you to unplug and replug your Mbox, do so, and you should be ready to go!
