When word clock from the Big Ben is sent to a MOTU interface like the 2408, no termination green light comes on.

This is an issue Apogee is aware of. Apparently, MOTU audio interfaces do not "reflect" their termination status, and the Big Ben therefore doesn't show termination. The MOTU interfaces will still sync fine to the incoming word clock.
