Q:
I'm having problems with EXS24mkII and Logic 6.3.1. Samples are cut off or the applications crash.
A:
Emagic has identified an issue with dual processor G5's and VSM (Virtual Sampler Memory) in EXS24mkII. Turning off VSM will load the EXS samples into RAM instead of streaming from disk. This will work fine, unless you are using very large samples and don't have enough RAM to load them.
Emagic is researching the issue and plan to have a solution soon.
