"I am on Mac OS-X with Pro-tools 6 and periodically get loud noise bursts when I hit play/stop. Is there a fix for this? "

1. Please go to: waves.com > Download > Updates - and download "Wave-Shell DAE 4.0.1 x".
2. Go to: HD > Library > Application support > Digidesign > Plug-ins –
trash the current Wave-Shell 4.0_x and replace it with the new one (Wave-Shell DAE 4.0.1 x).
