Why can't I load different instruments onto different MIDI channels in Native Instruments Absynth in standalone mode?
A:
Absynth is not multitimbral when used in standalone mode. To get multitimbral mode (ability to use different instruments on different MIDI channels) you will need to use Absynth with a compatable host application with multiple instances of Absynth.
