Q:
Can I load a Akai CD ROM into my Roland XV5080 ?
A:
The XV-5080, when connected to a SCSI CD-ROM drive, can load Akai CD-ROM libraries. When loading samples from Akai libraries, "Program" files are loaded in as Patches on the XV-5080. You can
mark the "Program" file which has either a .AP or .AKP extension. This should load in all the appropriate patch data. Refer to page 187 in the XV-5080 Owner's Manual.
