Q:
How do I setup Synchronization on the Roland TD10?
A:
The sequencer in the TD-10 can be synchronized to any device that transmits MIDI clock. Use the following procedure to set the TD-10 to external sync:
1. With a MIDI cable, connect the MIDI OUT of the External device to the MIDI IN of the TD-10. 2. Press PATTERN. 3. Press F2 (FUNC). 4. Press F1 (GLOBAL). 5. Turn the VALUE dial to select "EXTERNAL." Note: The pattern selected in the TD-10 will only start after receiving a "MIDI Clock" message. The external MIDI device determines the tempo and the TD-10 will follow in "sync" when you start or stop the external unit. 6. Press PATTERN to return to Pattern Play Mode.
