Q:
How do I save Disk Link Settings on the Roland G1000 ?
A:
The G-1000 has 128 Internal Style locations, 16 Custom Style locations (Flash
ROM memory) and 111 Style Disk Link memory locations. The Disk Link settings do not have a separate save-to-disk menu option. Disk Link settings are automatically saved when a Performance Set is saved. Performance Sets also contain all 192 Performance memories. Use the following procedure to save the Disk Link settings: 1) From the MASTER page, press F2 [Param]. 2) Press F4 [Name]. 3) Use the PAGE [^ / v] buttons to select "Master Display / Performance Set Name." 4) Use the LOWER NUMBER, UPPER VARIATION knobs and UPPER 2, UPPER 1 buttons to name the Performance Set. 5) Press LOWER 1 [INTERNAL MEMORY WRITE] to display "OKAY ! ! FUNCTION COMPLETE." 6) Press M DRUMS [SAVE]. 7) Use the PAGE [^ / v] buttons to select "Performance Set / File Name." 8) Press M BASS [EXECUTE] to display "SAVING . . ." 9) Press F5 [Exit] when complete.
