Why doesn't the vocal cut work on the Roland VS2480? Any suggestions?
 
A:
Some things to make sure of:

Make sure the audio track that has the vocal you wish to cut is recorded in stereo with the left channel on an odd-numbered track and right on the next higher even-numbered track (i.e. 1&2, 5&6, or 15&16)

Make sure the 2 tracks are stereo linked: press the Channel Edit button and turn on Channel Link

Make sure the effect is on the track, not the input
