Fresh install of Vokator - tape doesn't work (playback).

Please note that if you are using the live input (player) and the osc synth, then the only vocoding modes (a*b, or b*a) that you will hear the mixed signal is when the synth keys are pressed.

To audition the live player signal please switch the vocoder to a+b or mixed.
