Q:
Whenever I set my 2488 to slave to external digital signal, I get a message that says "Illegal Fs Rate" and I don't hear any signal.
A:
The sample rate on the 2488 is set to 44.1kHz. If you're attempting to send it a clock signal at any other sample rate, the 2488 will throw the above error and won't pass any signal.
Solution: make sure the clock source is set to 44.1 on the sending device.
