Formatting a Floppy Disk on the Roland E-600.
A:
Before using a new floppy disk, it must first be formatted. Use the following procedure to format a floppy disk:
1) Insert a write-enabled floppy disk into the disk drive. 2) Press DISK. 3) Press the [FORMAT] soft icon on the touch screen. 4) Press the [OK] soft icon on the Touch Screen. 5) Press EXIT when the Disk Menu returns. NOTE: Formatting a disk erases all data stored on the disk. If you are formatting a previously used disk, make sure it doesn’t contain data you wish to keep.
