Unit crashes during firmware update (MAC/PC)

Make sure you do not turn the computer on until this process is done as it may cause problems with the updating procedure.

1. Power off the unit
2. Press and hold the following buttons
a. HOLD
b. FLIP
c. AUX3
d. AUX4
3. Power on unit and it will boot into a different partition
4. From here, you may turn on your computer
5. Verify that the Firewire light is active
6. Close any Antivirus software and additional software
7. Proceed with firmware update

8. If this does not work, unit must go to Tascam for repair
