Q:
Will Tascam GigaStudio 3 be able to read my old .GIG files? Does it use a new sample library format?
A:
Yes on both counts. While GigaStudio 3 can read its new, more complex sample format, it will still play all of your standard .GIG files, as well as other formats it's always supported. The new format will allow more complexity within the instruments.
