Q:
When using Pro Tools, the following function keys are no longer selecting tools or enabling wait for note: F9 (Scrubber), F10 (Pencil), F11 (Wait for Note).

In Mac OS X 10.3, the F9, F10, and F11 keys default to controlling Expose functionality. To turn that off so that Pro Tools regains use of those function keys, go to the Apple System Preferences, then go to Expose, and under "Keyboard," set "All windows" "Application windows" and "Desktop" to no function key.
