Q:
My Mac OSX computer takes a long time to boot, and shows a blinking globe and/or blinking question mark.
A:
Visit the apple menu and choose System Preferences. There, choose Startup disk. Make sure your primary system drive (normally named "Macintosh HD") is selected as the startup disk. If it is isn't, click to select it and restart.
If "netinstall," "Network Volume" or another drive is selected, you could have this problem.
