When I'm running Ivory on my G5, the CPU meter will spike (100%) for a moment, causing a 'hiccup' in the audio output.

In one scenario, the user discovered that this problem occurred when the G5's 'Processor Performance' setting (located in System Preferences>Energy Saver) was set to 'Automatic'.

Change this setting to 'Highest', and the problem should clear up.
