Q:
When I push the Volume knob of my MOTU 896HD interface what do all the Analog/Adat In/Out lights mean?
A:
The volume knob's pushbutton toggles the programmable meters on the face of the 896HD beween monitoring the Analog Outputs, ADAT inputs, and ADAT outputs. Further pushing of the button toggles these three options with the option of the AES/EBU meters toggling between displaying input or output signal.
